Just got home awhile ago. Im SOOOOO tired! But, I had a GREAT time!!! Im so glad I went. Lotsa stuff happened. Like when I got to Allison's church..they were talking about like us doing activities- and I mean I figured there would be organized things we had to do...but I wasnt expectin as much stuff as we did. Like first we went outside in the parking lot and traced e/o and we had to be all connected...and like...KEN WAS THERE! lmao shes so freakin funny!! Anywho after that we like...eh talked in a group and shiz and they had us get into like groups of 3- so it was me, ken (amber), and allison...and like the topic of the thing was service- serving people...and stuff..so like Mr. and Mrs. Chef Lady were there...and they gave us like apple/grape juic and oreos..and like lmao Mr. Chef Lady was being SO rude..like lmao hed take a drink out your juice and give it to you..er pick up the glass and happen to put his finger in it ..and like he slamed our oreos down on the table and they got smushed :[ and Mrs. Chef Lady was niiice and gently giving people their stuff.. and like we thought Mr. Chef Lady was just being a dork...but they were pointing out like..good service vs. bad service...and we did some stuff..and they numbered us off and we went into groups...I was w/ Belinda (Mrs. Chef Lady) and like she was asking situations where we like volunteered er something..and served other people..and I found out that like the Chef Family does Meals on Wheels! Isnt that coool? lol...okay well if you dont feel like a sunday school lesson you can just skip this.
Our lesson was focused on like service like I said- well like right before Jesus was arrested when his disciples came to the house thingy..lol..er welll back in that day they would have a servant waiting by the door w/ like stuff to wash feet- because they wore what we call flip flops- all the time...so their feet would either be dusty or muddy...well obviously that was considered a servants job..but when they came to see Jesus before he was arrested...there was no servant by the door- so clearly they were like annoyed and what not...but then Jesus told them he was going to wash their feet- and I mean can you imagine how weird that would be? Jesus- their teacher and person they worshiped...stooping to a servants level....and well it significant bc..yah know it shows that basically people are equal-and stuffff..and Jesus told them that they should wash e/o's feet- serving others.
Well anywho, we had this activity to do by ourselves- to answer these questions and stuff..well like I went in this room w/ allison and she lit some candles and we listened to some pretty music and did our activity and prayed..then we had a heart to heart- it was really great. Shes such a great person. After that we had like free time..then we did this activity where we got in these groups of like 8 prolly and we passed along these tennis balls w/ the other groups- and we had to look up stuff in the Bible and discus stufffff..and like lmao it turned into a WARRR :/ Allisons group like kept throwin balls over to my group and like 4 of them hit me..lol it was hilarious but finally the 3 groups started like attackin e/o...lol kala and amber and me and chelsea were throwin them at allisons group ;x it was herrrrlarious..and like they got a lot of the night on tape..so we watched it this mornin..lmao ill talk more about that in a sec.
We did lots of other stuff- like during like one part of our free time they gave us stuff to make salvation bracelets- theyre pretty awesome.
Anywho- like the last thing we did..was like..we went to the sancu..er dono how to spell it- lol...and like they gave us each a candle..and we like had written something we want to do to help the community (volunteer at like a soup kitchen/ hospital...donate to a food drive..etc) and we took them and we prayed and put our cards in the offering plate...and then it was so cool..bc we got to do a foot washing thing..sounds pretty gross- but its cool- Allison had to do it at church camp and she thought it was really cool- bc I mean you imagine Jesus doing it for you..and stuff..and like they gave us the option of having our feet washed (the youth group leader..cant remember her name :X or this other guy..I wana say Jason? lol) or like you could have a friend do it- so me and Allison decided to do it for e/o..and see we only had one thing to like use..to put your feet in and stuff..and like everyone but amber (she has a foot thing..doesnt like people touchin them) did it...me and allison were the only ones who did it for e/o..lol..it was cool- I dono I took a lot from that..it was very meaningful- and then after that we had communiun and then we were done. Allison changed into her pjs then we went back upstaisr and got some snacks and got our crayonys ( we got them out of like one of the kids rooms..they have like 4th and 5th...and like kindergartend preschool..all that stuff..and like earlier in the evening me and allison went in there and she made me a flower out of pipe cleaners..and we played barney memory...we took these ones that had marchin band barney on it ;x ) so thennn we went back into the sanc..(cant spell it) thing and Emily and Chelsea and this Katie girl (all freshmen from our school) and they were talking about all sorts of stuff- so Allison talked w/ them..it was cool..then they decided to sleep in there so me and Allison went down stairs to the chapel pray..thing..room w/ our sleepin bags and listened to music and colored ;x and like we had to get up at 7:30 because we had to make pancakes and eggs and sausage and bacon for the church..well like me and Allison tried to stay up- but like at 6:25 er so we decided to go to sleep bc we were on the verge of passing out..lmao so we turned on the flashlights and made pictures on the wall..hers looked like an eye and mine looked like a tadpole lol..it was funnnnny..and then we went to bed..well..oh man..at like 8 something...I wake up to like 20 people singing "YOURE MY SUNSHINEEEEE MY ONLY SUNSHINNNNNNE..." roflmao so I fly up in my sleeping bag..and I was so freaked out- I forgot where I was...and I layed back down and was kicking my feet and theyre like singing LOUDLY and tellin us to get up and stuff..and Im like NOOOO and covered my face- cuz lmfao they had the camera on...and ROFLMAO dewd it was SO funny...Amber layed on top of me and shes like HON-IE this isnt a nightmare..its really happening! lmfao somethign like that..it was so funny..you have no idea..well what happened was they forgot to come to the room thing and wake us up- so they had already made breakfast for the early morning service- and like they had eaten breakfast..and Deb (youth group leader) was like Wheres allison? and Shauna? lmao..I love it. It was greatttt..we watched the tape upstairs and it was SO funny..ehh so me and allison ate breakfast..lol I love it cuz we got to wear our pjs..and for the church service we had our sleepin bags..lol..anywho we ate breakfast and helped clean and stuff..thenn um.watched a little bit of monsters inc. and I talked w/ kala and amber...and uhhh lmao me and ken busted some rhymes fo allison and a small audience- it was great.
Anyway, thats about it really!
Im so tired..runnin on 1 er 2 hours of sleeeepppp.
